We found Garry in the local messenger.
We employed him to do renovations our laundry, move the toilet and to do some kitchen renovations, as well as tiling, knocking out walls, inserting support beams in the roof, just to mention a few of the jobs they undertook. At all times did we find Garry and his assistant, Kenny to be polite, easy to deal with and detailed in their work. They arrived promptly at the beginning of the day and worked hard all day for a period of 3 weeks. What impressed us as well was the cleaning up at the end of the day and all of the rubbish was carted away making easy access to the carport each night.
I would highly recommend them as great tradesmen. We were very pleased with the result and would be happy to discuss or show you the renovation we undertook with Garry at a time suitable.

How lucky were we to find Garry Gardiner! We'd watched way too many episodes of Grand Designs and we needed a builder who would be patient and accommodating with all our unconventional ideas. We wanted a new ensuite and to re-arrange the mezzanine in our 150 year old hall. Garry was not phased by crumbling stone walls that leaned in every direction. Nor did he mind that we sourced all kinds of odd materials. He and Kenny just got on with the job. He added to the finished project in dozens of ways, solving problems with drainage and making suggestions that enhanced the job at every turn.
We were also very impressed with his team of tradespeople, a great plumber, tiler, plasterer and painter. Nothing was too much trouble and they were always conscious that we were still living in the space. It was left clean and tidy every evening. After researching several Builders we engaged Garry Gardiner and his team to undertake a complete kitchen renovation within a very tight timeline. This process included: planning; design; Council application; Engineers report; significant building works - removal of two internal load bearing walls with the provision of structural support; preparation of all surfaces ready for painting, flooring and kitchen installation; and rubbish removal.
Garry provided a fixed price quotation including description of all costs and a schedule of payment terms.
Prior to commencement of works, during and upon completion, all emails, telephone calls and txt messages were answered promptly by Garry. We found Garry to be an excellent communicator, with sound planning, time management and problem solving skills.
Garry supplied all trades work including electrical, plumbing, painting, plastering, and recommended a competitive and competent kitchen installation Contractor (Kitchen and Wardrobe Solutions).
Garry provided excellent project management with all trades arriving on time and in appropriate sequence. All tradesmen were professional, friendly, prompt and produced quality work. Garry and his team ensured a clean and safe work site daily including removal of all building rubbish promptly.
All works were completed within four weeks from commencement of demolition. Very few problems arose and unforeseen issues were addressed immediately upon notification and were rectified without adverse inconvenience or disruption to the schedule.

We had seen Garry’s work before and when we decided to renovate and move into our rental property, there was only one choice for a builder.
The renovation included gutting almost every room other than bedrooms in the house.
Garry made sure we knew exactly what was happening at every stage. All electrical, plumbing, painting, plastering, tiling was co-ordinated and all workers were friendly, efficient and excellent in their trade. We were also given a recommendation from Garry, to take a look at Kitchen and Wardrobe Solutions . We were extremely happy with the price to renovate the kitchen and the workmanship, so we also had them install the walk in robes to each of the spare bedrooms.
Nothing was ever behind. The house was always left tidy, tools always packed every night. Rubbish was promptly removed and nothing was ever any trouble. They were all such a wonderful professional unit.
Garry also gave valued advice for which we are grateful and we are absolutely over the moon with the finished result. We just cannot believe the change in the house and would recommend Garry without hesitation whether small or large building jobs.

Garry and his team made a tough job, easy. We purchased an original 1960’s home (where nothing is square, straight or even!) and wanted to keep a mix of original features and update others. Garry listened and understood what we wanted to achieve and was able to offer some brilliant suggestions along the way. The work involved removing an internal wall, gyprocking walls and ceilings, installing a new kitchen, laundry/WC, butlers’ pantry and painting. External work included rendering and painting, new timber cladding and merbau posts being fitted and an outdoor shower being installed, with new doors and windows being fitted throughout. I had expected that amount of work to take months, and was pleasantly surprised when Garry estimated 4-6 weeks until completion (especially as we had elected to live in the “house” while renovations were occurring). True to his word, the work was completed to an impressive standard within 5 weeks.Garry only takes one job on at a time (which is reason alone to engage his services!) Kenny – Garry’s offsider, was onsite every morning at 0730hrs, and Garry often working until just before dark. Garry and Kenny are incredibly respectful with the house and yard always being left clean and tidy – this was very much appreciated. As a shift worker I was very much at home and underfoot. Garry and Kenny never complained about my overwhelming desire to “help” and often stopped their own work to help me move my makeshift scaffolding or even loaning me some of their equipment. Garry put us on to Mark from Kitchen & Wardrobe Solutions who installed our kitchen at a price we couldn’t beat. Garry arranged and managed all trades which made the entire job seamless. Nothing was a problem and he took any problem or change of mind in his stride and with a smile on his face.Garry has brilliant work ethic and takes great pride in his work. It’s not just knocking down walls and putting in new kitchens. It’s the work that goes into the insurmountable tiny details that when combined, make the final job look so incredible.We are so impressed with the final job (a sentiment echoed by neighbours and friends alike!) though it’s a little more quiet without Garry’s sense of humour and Kenny’s singing … and the dog misses morning tea time with the “occasional” biscuit.We could not recommend Garry and his team highly enough, please don’t hesitate to ask Garry for our number if you want to chat further about our experience.Nicole & Paul_Tennyson (SA).

Originally found the process difficult through nervousness and not being able to control due residing Inter-State.
Our nerves were put to ease and we found the proceedings were well and truly under control through Garry’s ability to work in with us, listen and than producing in our opinion a quality project.
The transformation time schedule was as Garry estimated which was fantastic, enabling us to lease the property as anticipated.
Site access was tight with limited parking, Garry appeared to work in well with all neighbours, no complaints received.
All council permits, documentation, approvals were included under Garry’s scope and with no issues.
The house was handed over to us, in a tidy, well presented fashion with only furnishing to be carried out.
We are very thankful to Garry in the way he conducted himself, his tradesman like workmanship and his ability to set our mind at ease.
We have no hesitation in recommending Garry to anyone else.

Garry was recommended to me through a friend and I am thrilled to bits with my newly renovated bathroom, toilet and laundry. He brought my design ideas to reality and the quality of workmanship is top notch.
Garry effectively managed the whole project and completed the work to schedule, keeping me constantly informed along the way. He had helpful suggestions and nothing was too much trouble. He was easy to communicate with and focused completely on my project, doing most of the work as he is skilled in many areas. I asked for quite a complicated feature wall in my shower and the result is phenomenal.
